They are mushy. In my opinion, the chinese crawfish (which I totally dislike) are better than this brand. I bought 4 packs, 18.00 dollars a piece. I first cooked two bags, and placed the other two in the refrigerator overnight. I then cooked the second two bags because the first batch was less than appetizing. Also the bags had plenty of fat, but it was watery. I am thinking the watery fat watered down the tails making them mushy. Not a happy cook! No more Aqua Farms crawfish for me!
A pleasure to do business with! Best quality crawfish you can find on a day to day basis!
Hope to build a good relationship with this farm about to go into business in Southeast Texas, I have heard alot about this farm from my family in Lousiana always reliable on orders and Crawfish are always fresh and ready to go !!
The quality of the crawfish were horrible. They were mushy when I removed them from the bag and although the veins were removed, they were mixed in with the crawfish. I suspected things were going to go bad based on the look and feel of the crawfish, but Momma and I pressed on with making the etoufee. I bought 3 bags and end up having to throw it out because the crawfish tasted so horrible. All of the time to prepare and other ingredients was wasted on this too. So sad! I purchased at NuNu's in Youngsville.
