Spice Of India - Basel

Great ambience, delicious food and friendly staff. Visited spices from India with my family for lunch (very appetite buffet) and dinner (a la carte). Both were beautiful experiences. Would the goan prawn curry with rice and the chicken tikka masala with naan, apart from everything we ate, all were delicious. The well-stocked bar was indeed a headdriver, and we could not help, but in a few cocktails that were by the way brilliant, accompanied by the signature snack of peanut masala. All in all, great place to relax with friends or family.

If they are looking for a delicious authentic Indian food; this is the place to be. they will not be disappointed. celebrated my first birthday at spice of india and I just loved it. from place to eat to personal everything was simply perfect. amazing eating, very helpful staff and the owner elaine what a wonderful lady she is. never saw a owner so much pain and so much effort to celebrate their worth remembering for living. highly recommended

Just two words Super Excellent food. Whenever I get to Basel, this is the place I take food from. The cook in this restaurant is from North India, which could be one of the reasons why I find the food flavor exactly as I find in India. The owner of this restaurant is also super nice, she has adapted all my food to my taste buds. For future customers of this restaurant, I would like to mention that this place is on the first floor towards the railway station. From the ground floor you have to come to this restaurant with the lift. My strong suggestion is that you should visit this place at least once. Then it's my guarantee you'll come back.

Almost every Indian stay abroad longs to have authentic Indian cuisine for a while... So we are! For Spice of India, I had imagined that I felt like at home and I must say that I was not disappointed: Lipsmacking food with a soothing ambience...

My biggest pet peeve when I enter a fine dining restaurant is that it should let me reach my paramount of happiness, through the thing I adore the most, GOOD FOOD ! It should also be filled with laughter and chatter and not a gloomy one like a funeral service. And SPICE OF INDIA provides you all that ! Kudos to the team ! :
