Egg Harbor Cafe - Barrington

This is one of my favorite spots for breakfast. On my last visit, I ordered the ultimate skillet along with one of their specials, lemon ricotta French toast. The skillet was delicious, and the English muffin with the house-made marmalade that accompanied it was just delightful. I wish I could enjoy that muffin and jam every morning! The French toast was quite good, though I expected it to be even better. The service is excellent, and I highly recommend joining the online alert list before you head to the restaurant since it’s always busy. Thankfully, they turnover tables quickly, so the wait isn't too long.

After years of passing by when they were closed after 10:00, we finally decided to wake up early and give it a try. Both of our breakfasts were bursting with flavor. I had the Barrington Eggs Benedict while my partner opted for the Aztec Omelette. We devoured our meals in no time; they were so tasty that nothing else was needed to enhance them. The famous strawberry orange juice was also refreshing, featuring delightful bits of strawberry. The service was attentive and quick. We're really glad we made the decision to stop by!

Visit your local breakfast and lunch café, where you'll be greeted with a warm smile and feel right at home. The coffee is excellent, and the cups are lovely. The staff was accommodating and allowed us to customize some dishes since we are vegan and vegetarian.

Good location in downtown Barrington. Friendly staff. So that the portions are correct size and price, do not need more food than I can eat. Of course, the food is good. If you have time to visit, you can be busy on Sunday after the church. Toast app for waiting keeps it well ordered.

Excellent food/atmosphere. It was a breath of fresh air to see smiles. I enjoyed our time spent with a quality product as well as servers. I have to say we have been looking for a decent place like this for awhile. Thank you for the experience to start our day.
