Moxie's Grill Bar Barrie

Blackened chicken burger very good but very salty. The new side salad is ok but the topping is not very good. Too crunchy and seemed like it was uncooked quinoa. The service was very good. Friendly and efficient. Good noise level to have a conversation.

This was a special dinner to celebrate my 60th birthday. The service was outstanding. I believe our servers name was Jeanine or Jean (so sorry, I can't recall). She was wonderful; very knowledgeable of the menu, personable, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I had the lemon basil salmon and my husband had the short rib bolognese. Both meals were perfect; in both taste and portion size. I was commenting to our server this was the first meal I've had a in long time that was deliciously perfect. For dessert the sticky toffee pudding topped off the evening with a lovely happy birthday message written in chocolate on the plate. So good. Will definitely be going back.

Love coming to Moxies! The food is always delicious and never disappointed. However I do think the drinks/bartender needs some work. I ordered a ceaser and it was terrible. I couldn’t even drink it. It tasted very artificial like perhaps a premix was used and too much! Not made properly with Tabasco, Worcester, etc. My husband ordered another drink and found it disappointing as well. Love Moxies and maybe it was an off night for the bartender but perhaps hire properly trained ones.

Nice dinner. Way to talk on the restaurant side. Great service. Food was really good.
