Malones Pint House - Barrie

A great little place to go, especially if you are looking for some new friends or a fun and lively place to go with a group of your best friends! The most expensive place around the city for drinks and wings. Food is great! Service personnel are so...extensive and wonderful. I love that we can control the jukebox! That's a great note! I always come to Malones!

I was in the other night with a quiet girlfriend tiny drinking hole, kind of smacky dipable. We order drinks and food, the food was tasty was not really **** it is as if they simply tasted it in a microwave, chicken wings decorated gum-like horrible beer...flat as well. When I asked to talk to the manager, whoever this person was, she was rude and innocent. I saw around the facility, I noticed that there were many drunks who shouldn't have been there, I guess they were just overserving a dollar that I think is totally wrong and dangerous. Not only did we have a terrible time, we will never enter this diving bar again when the bill came out all overpriced considering what we ordered Plus we were still for the terrible food we took back) overpriced a total demolition. In my opinion, this place should be closed health inspectors should be included in this together with the alcohol and gaming for over serving.

My wife and I went together with another couple for dinner on 17th. 2021. It was my first time in this restaurant. After ordering our meals we waited 45 minutes to receive them. There were 3 orders of fish and chips and... an order of liver bulbs. All 4 meals were seriously over cooked and inedible. The liver similar to shoe leather. Don't get back to Malone's!

Sunday September 5th, my friend and I visited your terrace for a drink and a bite to eat (was there at 2pm, friend ordered a gin and tonic and it was served with soda water and not tonicum and then was said you were except tonic!!!! While there the waitress told us you do a jam session at 4:00 on Sunday, obviously we were too early for this special Sunday, so we have a table for 2 on Sunday 12. September 4h booked (I called to book on Weds previous . Go to the restaurant at 4h to say our table was not ready, the people still finished their drinks and their bill and we had to wait just about 5 minutes. There were a few ladies before us, I heard them say they had no reservations, but by the appearance of things they knew one of the waitress and I heard them say: "We will not worry you a table" and then they were sitting immediately before us!!! Then everyone who came to the host dinner stand sat immediately and we were still waiting there, just us both! Even the other males who were for their smoke breaks could not believe that we still stand there! The history of hostesses changed again and again: · was told at 4 p.m. They finished their drinks · 4:10 a.m. they paid · 4:20 a.m. they were still at the end of their drinks (although they already paid 10 minutes before! · 4:30 a.m. they waited for their bill (although they had their bill at 4:10 a.m.). We sat at 4:35 a.m. 35 minutes after our booking time, which is very bad customer service and bad administration. When we finally arrived at our table, we were addressed by a waitress who accepted our drink order, 2 x Gin and Tonic. After 10 minutes had passed, she brought back the drinks, but did not ask us what we wanted to order for food, I went to say what we wanted, but she had gone so fast, we got no chance to submit our order. We took a sip of our drinks and the bar delicate had put soda water in the drinks instead of tonic,(2. Week running looked around the waitress but not where in sight, she discovered 5 minutes later on the other side of the terrace, but could not get her attention. We waited 15 minutes after our drinks were given to us and they never returned to our table to take our order or to advise for us, the drinks were wrong.... So we got up and went, telling the hostesses how disappointed we were for the treatment we got.... I have never reserved a table in my life and had to wait until I could sit 35 minutes later. I never delivered drinks and did not ask if we were ready to order and never had to wait over 15 minutes until a waitress returned to the table to take our orders. Very poor customer service and management. Email the complaint to the manager on Monday, 3 days later no answer so decided to see my complaint for others.

We always have great service and great food. The shrimp ceasar and Fish and chips are delicious for a reasonable price and generous portions. This is my new favourite pub and we will be back soon!
