Simply Seafood Market Cajun Diner

Finally brought my family here because I had heard about it for years but always forgotten that it existed. Dad said it was the best shrimp he's ever eaten. Mom and my sister, who are picky eaters for the most part, absolutely loved it. I had the alligator bites which I was scared about because they are way out of my comfort zone and they were amazing. This is probably one of the best mom and pop places in Bardstown. It's sketchy, off the side of Boston road in a little run down looking building, but It's severely underrated and I would absolutely come back time and time again.

Great Gulf Coast shrimp and fish. This place really is a jewel for Nelson County. They cook to order and have a great selection of seafood for you to take home and prepare. Recommend the fried shrimp!

An absolute MUST on your visit to Bardstown! Bring a cooler to bring some hard-to-find seafood home, and have a great Cajun meal on-site before you leave. The porch has an outdoor area, and a screened area with fans and televisions. Service is friendly and prices are fair. Like or check-in on Facebook for 5% off. Remember to tip!

The shrimp and frog legs were very good. The scallops did not taste fresh. The 30 lb bag of crawfish for our Mardi Gras celebration were 50% dead. This isn't my first time buying live crawfish, and I know to expect some loss, but 50% is not acceptable. I'll definitely choose another supplier next time.
