Bullitt's Winery Bistro - Bardstown

I had pizza and wine flights at the restaurant. They had a very limited selection of beer, which was surprising for an Italian place. However, the pizza was excellent and really hit the spot. Everyone enjoyed their meal!

I was searching for a dinner spot and found limited options due to the holiday, but this restaurant was open and had an appealing menu. I was seated quickly and browsed the selections. I decided on some pizza, which was quite delicious. The flavors were great and the portion size was satisfying. Although the service was a bit slow, it seemed like they were short-staffed that evening.

Everything about this place was pretty average. The decor looked nice from outside, but inside it had Pizza Hut tables with slightly nicer chairs. The service wasn’t rude, but there was no warm greeting or welcome when we entered. The ordering process felt very transactional, with no time to really think about our choices. The food tasted homemade, but not in the best way (the Alfredo was quite greasy). I wouldn’t recommend it, but it could satisfy a pasta craving if you need it. At least the garlic bread was excellent.

Staff was friendly, food was fast, and the works baked Alfredo was amazing. My wife is an Alfredo fan and loved it. I did too. Their Cab was good as well. Worth checking out.

I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! The food was excellent, and almost all of my questions were answered—just one mystery remains. Amanda did an outstanding job, much like the Hardy Boys!
