The Looking Glass - Bar Harbor

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast here in early September, and the view was stunning. The servers were attentive, and even though the food took a little while to arrive from the kitchen, it was definitely worth the wait. If you have a big appetite, I highly recommend trying the breakfast tacos—they were fabulous!

What a wonderful discovery! A waiter from the restaurant we visited for dinner the night before recommended Looking Glass for breakfast, and it certainly lived up to the hype. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the view of the port was absolutely breathtaking. Plus, it was a great way to escape the crowded downtown Bar Harbor. We couldn't have asked for a better spot!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to kick off your day with a beautiful view. Located at the Wonder Inn Hotel in Bar Harbor, it specializes in breakfast. However, sitting outside can be a bit uncomfortable as the parasols don’t provide much shade in the morning since they aren’t angled properly. I had a delicious breakfast that included beef, carrots, cabbage, homeries, and eggs. Overall, I found the menu items to be a bit overpriced. While the atmosphere is calming, the service left something to be desired.

Had breakfast 3 times during our stay at Bluenose Inn. The food was great and we had quite all the options that the menu has to offer. The staff was nice and helpful

Had the potato skillet with tofu: vegan friendly! Finally a dish in Bar Harbor that is big enough to fill me up! There were a lot of potatoes and veggies. It wasn't the most spectacular dish I wish the potatoes and veggies were more flavorful but that's what salt, pepper, and hot sauce are for! I also had the veggie sausage, which was ok, and a fruit bowl. Fruit was on point: nice and fresh! And great service with a great view!
