Harbor Grand - Bar Harbor

Great location on the main street, but away from street noise. clean, modern room, very comfortable bed and continental breakfast, which included good quality healthy options. umbrellas also offered for the rainy evening. to walk to all restaurants and acadia shuttle. would definitely recommend!

Our Colorado crew of 11, including 5 kids under 11, stayed during the 4th of July holiday week. We were met by everyone with a welcoming, service oriented attitude. From the manager who was out in the public view and helping serve up during the ice cream social to the housekeeping staff who asked if there was anything we needed when we met them in the hallway. They made our children feel so special. The breakfasts were delicious a served with a song and a smile. The rockers on the porch at dusk were made to treat the adults to the relaxing ambiance of true vacation spirit. When we return to Bar Harbor, we will stay at this delightfully restful, truly Grand hotel. Thank you to all who worked from July 9 through the 12th. You made our trip special.

This hotel is our favorite hotel in Bar Harbor. Downtown, easy to walk to the shoreline, restaurants, and they offer lovely rooms with really comfortable beds and amenities. The service is friendly and attentive, and they offer a nice breakfast with many choices, that our entire family enjoyed last week. The pool was a bit hit with the children as it can get warm in the summer. Huge pool towels too. Very close to Acadia National Park 15 min . We will be back again next year. Thank you again. Thanks Sandra for taking such good care of our rooms too! Such a nice woman.

Fantastic hotel! Friendly, welcoming, CLEAN, like a home away from home! I would definitely stay here again! The breakfast was outstanding! The staff were genuinely kind and so helpful! Beautiful pool and grounds!

We spent 3 nights at the Bar Harbor Grand. The location was perfect and included parking. Parking in the village can be a hassle, so we were able to park and then walk everywhere. The room was very large and pristinely clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The included breakfast had lots of options and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will stay here again as it was one of the best.
