Beer, wine, cocktails smuggled into downtown Bar Harbor in a beautiful garden? Yes, please. Sea breeze and Adirondack chair are endlessly magnificent. People who watch A as delirical tourists wander on the main road. Must see people.

The Ivy Manor Inn has exceeded expectations in every way! Hospitality was top-tier, even the man who painted the outside walls left his colour role to open the door for us. Many thoughtful touches, including a bottle of wine in our room and a nice touch, because someone had noticed that my birthday was in two weeks. My partner and I were in the cottage, which was cozy, quiet, and had a very comfortable bed. There were exposed bars, beautiful fireplace and thoughtful decoration in the whole hut. The bathroom was a little tight, but well equipped. Free breakfast and coffee was quite expansive for a continental breakfast. The atmosphere with the garden bar, fire pits and live music on the front lawn was amazing and added a lively mood to join with the public welcome. The location is also great, it is an extremely close walk to all center and a very short drive to Acadia. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Ivy Manor Inn was wonderful. My husband I stayed in one of her huts felt like a fairy tale. We celebrated our 20th anniversary would not have found a better place. The cottage was clean, the staff was very helpful. We loved spending time at the lawn in the evenings. The outdoor fire pits were a wonderful touch. We hope to go back sometime. It was the most beautiful place I ever stayed.

We had a fantastic stay at Ivy Manor Inn. All staff were very friendly. Housekeeping and railings always took time to say hi or wave. The property is something from a storybook, and the bar in the front was fantastic. We had no problems with the TV size in our room. As far as the complaints about people not being sitting in the outside bar, I feel unfounded. You have to buy a drink if you don't stay there to sit down. If you don't drink alcohol, this is an individual decision. When people expect to go to a bar and sit down and order nothing, they have far too high expectations. The bar call was very hard to work. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it!

A wonderful experience. Staff were friendly and available. It’s very well situated in town. Live music on the front lawn, open to the public. Comfortable mattresses and a cozy, warm decor. 10/10 will return. *This being and old converted manor, the walls are a bit thin, but we found that during the week (we left on Friday) things quotes down to almost a whisper by 10:30 pm. No deduction because overall value is so high and we didn’t lose any sleep or suffer any discomfort.
