Harbor Beer Works - Bar Harbor

Great service, even if you're shorthanded. The food was above expectations and the beer was abundant. The bartender was friendly and helpful. The waitress was with all the interiors and we were still well maintained. The cook actually helped to deliver the orders. My Lobster Grilled Cheese was perfect as my first lobster on the trip and everyone at the table was satisfied.

Visit was over the commemorative day weekend. On a bright sunny day, everyone wanted to sit outside and wait. The ambience was beautiful and the staff was friendly. We stopped getting a quick lunch, so we didn't try many dishes. I have chicken sandwich and vegetarian hummus sandwich. Portion size was great. Side of the onion ring felt somewhat smaller than usual. French pommes were generous. Everything tasted super delicious. Actually, the vegetarian hummus sandwich. Recommended for a good time...food and drinks.

Arriving on Saturday night at 6:30 and sitting immediately. The place is huge with a lot of exterior and interior. I had the lobster Mac n cheese $35, man had fish and chips with some shells soup. Kid had a burger. The fish and chips were great! Huge, fresh piece of fish slightly broken and delicious pommes. The burger was good, but for $14 I would expect it to come with more than potato chips. The lobster Mac was good, but the market price seemed a little steep in view of the lobster in the plate. You lose a lot of lobster flavor in this dish, so if you don't want it, you get something else. You have a huge beer choice most if not all were Maine beer. But for $10, I would have expected my beer to be in a glass. The server was friendly, but he was very attentive. We waited a while to get our check. The food came out very quickly! Definitely a place to go, but we will try to find others here during our time!

Many Maine craft beers on tap, good selection of food! Service was great and fast. They also allow pups on the terrace for those looking for a dog-friendly restaurant.

Went to this location on two separate occasions during our visit and the service was definitely hit or miss but the food was quite exceptional. The beer menu was top-notch with over 25 different kinds of draft beer available well worth the visit.
