It is easy to spot: it is located at a corner after the walkway that crosses the road. At Chinese branch iv, you can get a noodle soup with pork for 35 baths (approximately 0.75 euros), or add beef for an extra 5 baths. They also offer meat lockers for 12 baths each (0.30 euros). While the menu has many options, it is best to stick to ordering noodles since the service is Chinese and the staff is friendly but may have limited English. Additionally, they serve longan juice or cola for 15 baths (about 0.36 euros). If you prefer water, they will bring it in a pitcher to your table. The best part about this place is the affordable price, as the food and decor may not be the fanciest. However, for 0.35 baths, you can enjoy a meal with metal utensils. Overall, it is a great value for what you get.
The cheapest restaurant in the Lumphini Park area may be the Chinese restaurant on Rama IV, a place whose name I can't translate because it's only in Chinese! Now, it's easy to spot: it's the one on the corner just after the pedestrian bridge that crosses the road. The one with Chinese characters and a cart outside, on the right. At the Chinese restaurant on Rama IV, you can have a noodle soup with pork balls for 35 baths (approximately 0.75 euros), or with beef for an extra 5 baths. They also have skewers of meat (they seem more 'smoked' than 'fried', not exactly like Spanish skewers) for 12 baths each (0.30 euros). The menu includes many other items but they all come in Thai, and since the service is Chinese, very friendly but Chinese, the easiest and most practical thing is to order noodles. The noodles are not spicy. For drinks, there's longan juice (a local fruit) or chrysanthemum tea for 15 baths (about 0.36 euros). If you prefer water, you can take it directly from the spice basket, and they will charge you for it later. They also have Coca Cola, which is universal. If you order it, they will ask for ice, and the ice is safe to drink (at least I've never had any issues). Without a doubt, the best thing about this place is the price. The food could be better, as well as the 'decor' of the place. However, for 0.35 baths, you can eat sitting down with metal utensils. You can't ask for more.
