As we stumble across this restaurant nestled out from the main street, we didn’t had a second thought, the decor was so soothing and welcoming. Standing by their name, wooden tables, high stool counters and plantations adorns the environment here. A juxtaposition of being raw and cozy. Complementing the same is a health oriented menu, which certainly has the organic touch to it. You will find sandwiches, breakfast platters, burgers, salads and chicken starters/ light eats here. A good collection of books and board games will help you eke by your time here.<br/ <br/ Courticious and genial staffs will guide and help you selecting your stuff as well. They know their stuff. What we ordered?<br/ <br/ Shakshuka:<br/ <br/ Poached egg in tomato, pepper and onion gravy served with salad and pav. That’s a whole wheat pav for you. Shakshuka is a mediterranean dish and I was delighted to find it here. For those of you wondering how it tastes, it will feel like a version of pav bhajji with egg. But, a recommended one.<br/ <br/ The not so contemporary Jowar special pancake made from organic jowar flour served with maple syrup and cream. Felt fiber rich and decent as well.<br/ <br/ We also had a chance to grab on some fresh smoothies and few more pancakes with banana and cream.<br/ <br/ When near the neighbourhood I would definitely want to visit them again and try some of their breakfast specials, cause they really looked tempting.<br/ <br/
Looking for some calm and lovely place in Kalyan Nagar then don't forget to visit this restaurant. The ambience is pretty good. The food is also good. One has a variety of options to choose for. And the staff is also very supportive. They have book shelves and you can select over many books to sit and read there as its a calm place. The food quality and quantity is good too.Do visit this place

In search of a good brunch spot with a healthy menu, I stumbled upon Raw Straw. Since then it had been in my bookmark and I finally decided to go there once Sunday morning for brunch. It is a small café secluded from the bustling main roads.<br/ <br/ As we entered, we were seated and the staff were courteous. Each wall in the café is differently decorated and the seating is divided into a raised upper section with chairs and tables and a lower section with cement chairs for a more rustic look and also good for groups.<br/ <br/ We decided to order the very berry smoothie bowl, veg ragi tacos and creamy open sourdough. The food took a while to come so we decided to play a few board games which were present there. The service is a bit slow but the food totally made up for it. <br/ <br/ The very berry smoothie consisted of mixed berries and bananas blended to a smooth consistency. It was topper with sliced apple, bananas, toasted oats, chia seeds and granola. It tasted heavenly and I totally recommend it. It was so delicious that we finished it so soon which left me heartbroken because I kept craving for more. <br/ <br/ The creamy open sourdough consisted of toasted sourdough smeared with pesto, topped with lettuce, creamy mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and onions. This too, was scrumptious. The one problem was that the sourdough was toasted a bit too much which led it to being extremely crunchy and difficult to eat. Other than that, it was perfect, the mushrooms were flavourful, the sharpness and acidity of the onions and tomatoes balanced it well. <br/ <br/ The ragi tacos consisted of soft ragi shells filled with grilled veggies like different colour bell peppers, broccoli and carrots and was topped with chopped tomatoes, onions and a creamy yogurt sauce. The taco shells were not too rubbery or hard which is usually the problem when ragi is used. It was soft and the crisp veggies had their flavour intact. <br/ <br/ Overall, I really loved the place and would love to come back again, any day! <br/ <br/ Ambience- 4/5<br/ Food- 4.5/5<br/ Service- 3.5/5
