The burra kabab, chicken malai tikka, dal Bukhara, and the outstanding sikandari raan were the favourites. Skip a meal and come here so you can eat to your heart's content. The only downside was we had to wait for our table for 20 mins despite having a reservation. But the wait was worth it. Service: Dine in
Enjoyed the food and ambiance to the fullest. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Full marks to ambience but food is very low quality that to at the price they are selling.... meat and fish both were dry and chewy ? we left food over there
It was the worst food we ever tasted on a 5 star hotel in India. Even roadside food was much better than this. All paid reviews. I had ate in Hilton, Leela Palace, Marriott and other few 5 star hotels in Blore. But this is the worst food I ever had. I got stomach issues after eating from there. Too much oil and spicy food. Lime juice tastes worst. I had expectations on this restaurant but was shocked when they said even rice also not available. The sheek kababs tasted like grinding off leftover foods. The kulfi I ordered was smelling badly. Please avoid this place at any cost. Even though we ordered the A la carte .
Why Old does not remain gold always Windsor Manor’s Royal Afghan, a Bangalore legend for over 25 years at least) called my taste buds home after 7 years. Memories of “WOW” Dal Bhukhara and melt in your mouth Sikandari Raan fueled my anticipation. We dove in Raan, Bhukhara, Malai Kabab, and the colossal Naan Bhukara enough to feed a tribe! The Naan, though impressive, fell short. Showy but dry, a chewy blip in an otherwise stellar evening. The Dal Bhukhara? Legendary status confirmed. I’ve craved better Dal Makhni, but Leela’s Jamavar comes closest. The Raan was pure poetry – succulent, fall off the bone bliss. The Chicken held its own too. Yet, the “WOW” I chased remained elusive. Bangalore now boasts phenomenal North Frontier options, delivering equally amazing food. For the premium price tag, Royal Afghan didn’t quite hit the same high notes as before. A bittersweet reunion, perhaps. Old may not always be gold, but memories, like the Bhukhara and Raan, still sparkle. While new contenders rise, Royal Afghan retains its charm, whispering stories of past culinary triumphs. @itcwindsor @itchotels #RoyalAfghan #BangaloreFoodie #NorthFrontierCuisine #MemoriesAndMore
