Bison Restaurant & Terrace - Banff

I had came to this restaurant as a lone travelerAt first I was hesitant about sitting here alone, because it looked kind of upscale.

My wife and I recently got married in Canmore and spent a short honeymoon at the Banff Springs.

Ribeye bison was just perfect! Enjoyed this with the cast iron cupola of potatoes lyonnaise with gruyere cheese. Served over broccolini and small split carrots- it was memorable! My partner had flow braised bison short ribs as tender as could be with an assortment of veggies. Had a couple of glasses of Zinfandel and that was a perfect dinner! About Can$170 for two main courses, two Zinfandel and one premium scotch plus gratuities.

We had a excellent brunch here on Sunday morning. The Caesars (Canadian name for **** Mary) were outstanding. The service and the food was superb! Highly recommend The Bison!
