Sushi - Ballina

This is hands down the best sushi I've ever had, and I've tried plenty! The service is outstanding, the staff is fantastic, and the sushi is delicious. They cater to everyone's tastes and everything is always fresh. I visit this place every week and have never encountered any issues. You definitely need to check it out!

Once a fantastic restaurant, my family used to dine there weekly. Unfortunately, the service has declined significantly. The staff often appear to be preoccupied with chatting, making it difficult to get their attention. Additionally, the menu options have become limited. For better service and a wider selection, I recommend trying the sushi at Lismore in Lismore Central.

I ordered the chicken karage dish, and it was soggy and overcooked. The batter was dry and lacked flavor. I won't be returning.

They are always busy but you can usually still get a seat. Have the usual on the train $4 per plate) but staff attend to you quickly and ask if you want anything ordered. Sushi actually tastes good and great selection for the kids. I would say they are family friendly ,but had a staff new girl, bigger set and obviously not Japanese) grit her teeth at my child as he nearly dropped his plate. I had to 'gently ' remind her I 'm the parent and of course we are paying for it. Perhaps she shouldn 't work with people? It ruined our experience at the place as we 've never had any issue there previously.
