Bondies At The Bay - Ballina

This is a classic takeaway spot with a mix of seating for about 20 people. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly. The prices are quite affordable; we spent just $35 for two "works" burgers, three dim sims, and two 600ml drinks. Overall, the food was good, featuring all the essentials of a fully loaded burger, including egg, pineapple, and beetroot, and the burgers were a decent size. The taste was satisfactory as well. However, a couple of improvements could be made: it would be helpful to have a new menu displayed on the wall covering all the options instead of having seven menus scattered around. Also, we were surprised to find out that the dim sims we assumed were meat were actually vegetarian when we were asked about our preference. On a positive note, they also have a slushy machine and a nice selection of ice creams.

The highlight of the place is the original takeaway shop. The food is fantastic, with an extensive menu to choose from. They serve the best scallops in town and the chips are absolutely delicious. The service is very quick, and I can't get enough of them!

Best fish chips I've ever had! Love that they make their own chips from scratch. Highly recommend going here if your ever in the area. I tell all my friends about it.

My husband found the best takeaway spot in Ballina! Since we do motel relief work every month, it's nice to indulge ourselves once in a while. We've tried the fish and chips, hamburgers, steak sandwich, and chicken schnitzel, and everything has been fantastic. The staff is great, and the service is friendly.
