Cafe Cornucopia - Ballarat

This restaurant claims to be open from 6 am, but when I arrived at 7:15 am hoping to have breakfast, I was informed that they were closed until 8 am due to the owner doing catering work. Additionally, it was raining heavily outside. I was unable to try the food, so I can only give one star for the decor. It's disappointing because I work nearby at the hospital. I will not be returning to this place.

Good quality food with nice selection on the menu. Pleasant atmosphere for couple or group. Usually the service is very efficient though in recent visit not quite up to standard. Convenient location if you can get a park.

Such a cosy atmosphere! Warmly greeted, good coffee and muffins. Both were generous size. Some lovely things to buy too such as bunting. I will definitely be back.

A great trip advisor find and one of the few Cafes in Ballarat open for breakfast before 7:00am. The Cafe is a series of rooms decorated with an eclectic mix of vintage furniture and wares. A big draw card is the warm open fire lit daily to toast cold fingers and toes. We ordered eggs benedict and scrambled, yummy toblerone hot choc and good coffees. I would have given five stars but our plates and ham were as cold as a mother-in law's kiss and hollandaise not housemade, otherwise really good eggs and was nicely presented. Lots of freshly made goodies to choose from, a big plus is the welcoming and friendly service, will keep this Cafe on our re-visit list, well done to our hosts.

Absolutely stunning little place the kind you'll fall in love with and want to keep going to. Not too bad on pricing either with a great feel and an awesome chilli hot choc!
