The place smelled like a sewage pipe broke, and no one was there to great us upon arrival. When we got a seat in the dining room, the water given to us tasted peachy like it was mixed with an unclean soda fountain drink. Now on to the sushi: we ordered 5 rolls and waited an hour for them. When we got the rolls, not one was what we ordered or matched the description of the menu.Lobster roll : had NO LOBSTERTuna roll: had crab in itSpicy tuna roll: had crab itEssentially, all the rolls were the same (though the ingredients on the menu were different): imitation crab, avocado, a little tuna, covered in spicy sauce. The server and sushi chef tried to tell us that is how they do it there and it’s not like other sushi restaurants. After bickering about the bill, and paying for suspect Nigiri, it was off to get a real meal.If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions , beware of cross contamination or food mislabeled on the menu.
We had a catered event here. Food was delicious. Building is old, but clean. There are no elevators.
Mohegan Manor hosted a family birthday party for us. Everything was prefect. They made the entire day super easy and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend looking at this place for an event as I cannot thank them enough for the great day they helped make happen.
No Bueno!! Nearly everything was overcooked! Out of (3) grouper (3) Strip steaks, only 1 out 3 steaks had ANY pink (only because it was sent back) when you spend nearly $40 for a dish it damn well better be how you ordered it. All the groupers were overcooked (dry and crusty). Best part of meal was the company, seafood risotto and lemon marscarpone.
The atmosphere is quite elegant. However, everything I tried tasted like boot polish. I couldn't connect why, but then I saw Mothers For Liberty and cops banquet here often. I would suggest a more secular restaurant.
