Manuel's Casa De Mariscos - Bakersfield

I only had dinner here and it was wonderful. I think it was the best I ever had. everything was fresh and delicious. do not let them leave the funky entrance to the restaurant through the hotel door. eating is great!

Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine. this is a small restaurant that is attached to the best western plus hill house hotel. the chili verde taco was excellent and the chile rellanos are some of the best in the city. we were served by mary who said she was the mother of the owner manuel. the service was excellent. we sat down and ordered and had our meal within eight minutes. is coming back.

Eating is always amazing! my favorite is the chile verde! as good as my mother does! the fried egg is really good! the best we had between here and Texas! we visit at least once a year and when we do it, we make it a point to this little hidden gem come! manuel is always there and ensures that the quality stays high and the service is good. really wonderful Mexican cuisine and really wonderful people!

Since 4 years here. great eating there is an attempt! I recommend the asada and garnel plate.

We're from Los Angeles and now Arizona and I gotta tell you, this was the best Mexican food we'd had in ages. I think the tamale may be the best I've ever had with little chunks of pork on top. The salsa was really good. I enjoyed my chicken taco and pork tamale (only choice was pork) and my companion loved their chicken enchiladas. Delicious. Adjacent/ attached to Best Western Plus Hill House. Easy parking on the secured hotel parking lot.
