It's Boba Time - Bakersfield

I have gotten boba time a few times now as it 's my wife 's favorite spot. She enjoys trying new flavors and I 've never had any trouble with anyone when ordering anything. That was until this one worker started giving us serious attitude and just making it seem like she didn 't want to server us. Usually we will tip but this lady clearly doesn 't want that or she would be a bit nicer and actually treat people like they are allowed to be served. The first time I asked if they had a drink and she told me No we don 't have that here in a very rude and snooty tone. It was quite rude but it was whatever a one time encounter. Although just today my wife and I ordered drinks through the app for the first time and I walked in and told the same girl that I had an online order. She then just stared at me for a second making me seem like I was dumb and then giving a snooty uh okay and going and grabbing our drinks. I can say that as long is this girl is serving us I will not be tipping and may even just walk out when she is behind the counter because the attitude is seriously not needed saying when we came in for the online order we were the only people in there. While the tee can be good, they cannot bring their children, unless they want them to hear loud music that is full of profanity.

After waiting in line for almost 20 minutes I get to the front to order and I'm told their out of boba. That would've been nice to know before I waited 20 minutes. But no sign was up. Anyways, they got my order wrong (took forever) I wanted the Taro smoothie not the milk tea. And it took even longer for them to fix it (I had to pay .75 more) apparently my smoothie was sitting there but it didn't have a number so no one called it which makes no sense since the number 185 is at the top of my new receipt. So I got a watery smoothie. Yeah never coming back!

Boba is chewy yet soft. shaved ice was great for a hot afternoon. i was able to ask for less sweet

First visit last week when I was nearby and craving some boba. Went right for the taro milk tea with boba and not disappointed at all. Staff was friendly and took my order right away and it was served up quickly. Fair size for the price and the taro was delicious. Enjoyed the entire drink and was wanting another. I'll be back for sure.
