Guthrie's Alley Cat - Bakersfield

This is a fantastic place for grabbing drinks and playing a few rounds of pool. The drinks are excellent and the bartenders are very friendly.

On a Friday night, the atmosphere is lively with a cool breeze and trendy people. Bubba has been serving up great food at this restaurant for decades.

Didn't have food, had a **** Mary with green olives, so I kinda ate here. So glad we stopped. Greeted by an adorable pooch and a friendly bar tender. The drink was perfect for a morning eye opener. Would have stayed for more, but needed to get back on the road. The mural is amazing, definitely worth the stop, a step back in time. Hope the atmosphere is the same when I visit in October.
