Carla's Cafe - Bakersfield

If you want a homecooked meal, breakfast, lunch, etc. Then this is the place to go on the south side of town! The portions are generous and full of flavor!!!! Breakfast: The eggs were delicious, the bacon was for sure farm fresh, and the country-fried steak was to die for!!! It had just enough char and moisture to make you crave another bite, the gravy was the sweet spot for sure. Biscuits and gravy was its own meal and it was offered as a side ! Sooooo good without the need to pepper or salt anything on the entire plate! They also have a classic Coffee bar where I'm sure many a deal has been struck and a story told! Quaint, with quick service and a homely vibe!

Really friendly staff and delicious food. The biscuits and gravy are GREAT. If I lived locally I’d be a regular for sure. For now I’ll keep stopping in every time I’m in the area.

The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations! We ordered biscuits and gravy, a burrito, pancakes and omelet! Everything was good! The quantity was very generous too! The service was ok and the place can get some upgrades. Besides that, I do recommend this place!

Carla's Cafe is the best place to eat in greenfield. They have a wide variety of great food to choose from.
