La Luge - Bagnères-de-Luchon

We arrived for lunch on a busy Saturday; there was an event on (some sort of mountain race) so lots of potential custom. We tried to order drinks and food indoors, they told us there was service on the terrace and wouldn’t take our order. We sat outside waiting for the waiter . We asked him to take our order several times; he ignored us. Eventually he realised we were wanting to eat as well as drink and he took an interest; after half an hour he took our order; after another half an hour the drinks arrived. After some further time I complained; it was apparent they hadn’t got our order right; we leapfrogged the useless waiter, the manageress, and got the stuff we’d ordered direct from the kitchen. The food was below average. We had to clear the table ourselves the whole place wasn’t clean well presented or pleasant. There is only one loo and it was soaking wet. The views are of a car park. They got our bill wrong but we didn’t complain as it was way under what it should have been. Hopeless place avoid it like the plague.

There is a menu for lunch and also snacks such as sandwiches, crepes, frites etc. service is friendly but chaotic. Several ski instructors and paramedics were eating there which must be a good sign

Les plats sont simples , bons, peu onéreux ( 12,50 euro ) une paelle et 1 verre de sangria , le personnel tres sympathique , souriant et accueillant , la vue est splendide, franchement rien à redire . Par contre svp débarrassez vous des ces horribles fleurs en plastique qui ornent les fenêtres brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Plats simples mais de bonne qualité type brasserie, le serveur est aimable et souriant. Très belle vue des montagnes sur la terrasse ensoleillée.

Une gérante au top!!!!! Esprit famillial. Nourriture type brasserie.Terrasse appreciable avec soleil et une vie magnifique.
