La Selva - Bacalar

It WAS a nice breakfast place serving a variety of plates. Their tortas were nicely assembled. I walked by the other day and the place is empty and no sign, so it's gone.

We stopped by randomly for breakfast and we were so amazed with the food. Homemade but with a personal touch. On top of it, the staff were incredible nice. I highly recommend to try this place if you are in Bacalar.

Just west of the town square, La Selva is definitly the best breakfast in Bacalar. We have tried most of the menu, great coffee, fruit with granola, egg dishes and much more. All great, and they rent bicycles too ! I hope you find this review helpful. Happy Travels.

Nice breakfast location with tasty molletes. Fresh fruit juice and crepes are also available. We enjoyed our stay.

One of the best restausrant i have evr found during my trips. The owner is cooking herself in this small restaurant delicious crepes, mexican food and fruit juice. She use fresh vegetable bought to amish farmers that dont use pesticide. It is organic food for a part of the meals. DON T MISS IT ! The place is in the calle 22 next to thechurch, there is no sign in front of the restaurant with name, but very easy to find. Really cheap also, from 35 pesos.
