Los Hechizos - Rancho Encantado

What a great restaurant. The day was a bit windy but the attention and food were superb. Our waiter was Andre and he was top top on service and recommendation. We had sopa de lima, ceviche Adelina and the octopus and all of them were...on point. Our kid had pescado empanizado and the size was great. Also she had the mac&cheese but it was too big. The dessert WOW. I tired the cheesecake but it was served with mermelada de tomate verde and what a great taste and combination. Definitively a must

Very hard to get to. Had to drive over garbage and terrible gravel road basically a back lane. Very difficult as no one could explain parking etc in English. The drinks were very small for the price compared to other restaurants in bacalar. Service was...okay in the restaurant. They didn’t understand when asked to substitute food. The food was only okay in my opinion. Definitely not the best octopus. Meals were much smaller and more money than all the other places we attended. Very slow to take drink orders and took 15-20 minutes to get someone’s attention to bring us the bill. Also had a guitarist and singer performing. Way to loud. Hard to talk to guests over the noise. Beautiful location and view but 2,5-3 at best for food and price.

Andre the waiter was fantastic and the food was amazing. The view of the legoon is lovely. I'd recommend the tacos and brownies.

Great experience, fresh food and directly at the water francisco was excellent and treats us so well, we felt very welcome and the food was delicious

Eating is amazing special pizza. we are Italian and in the rule we use local food to taste when we are out of the country. but when we saw pizza on the tellers of the other guests, we decided to try it: amazing as the pizza of neapel! The service is also excellent. thank you to others!
