Kalamia Hotel - Ayr

Had dinner with the family last night. All thoroughly enjoyed our meals, husband was particularly pleased with the seafood platter. Great value, fed a family of five with four desserts and drinks for under $130.00.

The Kalamia Hotel offers great "pub" meals. Plentiful, great taste and great, friendly service. Our go-to place for dinner.

We spent numerous Friday nights at Kalamia and celebrated here our farewell party as well! Kalamia has plenty of room to dance with additional dance floor available for special events or weekends. There is a spacious garden outside - we enjoyed the outdoor seating on ordinary days sipping up some refreshing cider (honestly, best deal in town - $20 for a jug of cider!) Also, the garden has two pool tables - always fun to play when you're with a group of friends. Food at great value too. Staff super friendly. Would highly recommend - it's one of best local entertainment spots in Ayr.

Recently visited for a family 80th birthday surprise party. Cannot express enough how impressed this city resident was with this hotel. The pub meal was ONE OF THE BEST I have had in my travels (national and international) with exceptional value for money. This meal was so large and flavor some it would easily have fed two. Service was friendly with all meals coming out at once so that everyone was eating together and the table was cleaned up timely at the conclusion of everyone eating. A must stop when visiting this country town!!

Stopped in here on a Sunday drive, very glad we did!! Lunch specials $14.50 for fish
