Toshi Izakaya - Avon

This restaurant has it all: a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service timing, and very friendly staff! They even have a small service robot to deliver meals and checks! They're attentive to social distancing and COVID-19 precautions, and I've had a fantastic time here. Don't be misled by the American barn aesthetic on the outside; inside, it truly captures the essence of traditional Japanese dining!

This is a fantastic spot for a quick lunch. The bento box is quite tasty. It's a lovely, quiet place that isn't ever too crowded during the week. Great food!

This was my first visit, and it exceeded my expectations! The meal was generous and bursting with flavor. No food is kept under a hot lamp here! I'll definitely be coming back! The staff was friendly, and you can't beat the prices.

That was a call order. I ordered the 2 roll punch special. it came with a mistsuppet that I am not a fan and not even try, so I can't rate it. it also came with an salate. it was good, the dressing was delicious. the 2 rolls I ordered were spicy salmon and spicy thunfish. I also asked for it to add extra spicy, not soy, ponzu. Now, none of the rolls was sharp, quite bland in the did. not ponzu, but extra soy. So that's how to eat, but not great. they also do not seem able to follow directions when they order.

I am recommending the place not only because 22 years ago, I was working part time as a waiter, and have good old memories, but because the fact Toshi has been there for so long. 22 years may have been long enough to to have many changes, but at least, the Ya-go “business name” in Japanese) is still there. And I am happy to see many smiles in FB
