Taverne Avedis - Avignon

Un lieu très agréable au cœur du festival. Les serveuses sont incroyablement souriantes, agréables et professionnelles (surtout Mila, Jeanne, Jade et Tamara), elles sont aussi délicieuses que les boureks qu'elles servent ! Il est impossible de partir sans leur laisser un bon pourboire ! Allez-y sans hésiter.

The food at this restaurant was delicious. We shared a mixed meze starter. There was more than enough. It included everything you would expect for a Greek meze plus some extras which I imagine were Armenian. We had souvlaki for mains. Again excellent. The deserts looked good but we were too full. Service was good. The only disappointment was that although listed on the menu they did not have ouzo. They didn't have a cote du Rhone wine either which is a bit unusual when in Provence. The meal was good value and we would recommend you try it.

We found this restaurant when out for a walk and decided to return in the evening.The food was delicious and plentiful.We were given olives and water on arrival without having to ask.The greek salad and assorted starter were both freshly prepared which you could tell.We then had Kofta and lamb skewed with vegetablesi which again were superb.Dessert was home made, a vanilla flan and assortedastries.The waiter was very helpful and attentive.it was a really good experience away from the busier squares.

Second visit to this wonderful Greek gem and as before it was fantastic! The platter starter is a medley of delightful tastes and the meatballs are delicious!The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing and the waiter is extremely friendly and helpful, I would recommend this spot to anyone!

We stopped in after checking their 4 dot rating on Trip Advisor and were extremely pleased. Service was great, we were the only customers, and the food was outstanding. The royal entree was fantastic, each item well prepared and very tasty. The price was very reasonable and the restroom was very clean and modern. We highly recommend this place, especially if you are getting tired of duck.
