Tartan In L - Avery County

While the food is ok, the restaurant has Trump propaganda posted on their walls and this is such a turn off for those of us traveling and visiting and wanting a non-political environment for lunch. It takes away from the Tartan experience and makes the counter area look really trashy.

My family of 5 went after a long morning of hiking on Grandfather Mountain. We were all able to find something we liked... even my oicky eaters. Excellent food!

Please raise your prices to accommodate the use of credit or debit cards. Give a discount when cash is used. It’s not a good look to advertise that you penalizing you customers if a card is used and then ask for a tip on the amount with the extra 3% already added.

The mushrooms are good. The Ghost Burger is excellent!

We 've been coming here every year for over 15 years. Always great food, atmosphere, and service. Truly love it. I cannot, for the life of me, understand the low/bad reviews. Nor do I understand those who are offended by certain things. I can, but the underlying reason is ridiculous. Besides, one can only be offended if one allows themselves to be.
