Estiatorio Ornos A Michael Mina

The food was tasty and nicely presented. The server and manager were attentive. The noise level outside was a bit loud due to the patio being next to the valet area. In general, it's a charming restaurant.

The waiter was very friendly. My husband and I ordered different dishes. I had the moussaka and my husband had the short rib pasta. Both dishes were tasty, but they tasted very similar. There was a cheesy sauce that was heavy and overpowering, although I can't recall the name.

The service at the restaurant was overly attentive, with the server and manager constantly interrupting our conversation to clear dishes, change tableware, or check on the food. It was overwhelming. Two of us ordered the moussaka, but as someone of Greek descent, I can confidently say that it was not an authentic moussaka. Instead, it seemed more like mushrooms and a heavy tomato sauce mixed in with potatoes, or something similar. I was very disappointed and expected better from a Michael Mina restaurant. While I appreciate different interpretations of dishes, this one was not at all appetizing.

Our waitress Isabella was exceptional and the food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone passing through Aventura and being in the mall is also nice
