The food was overcooked and hard. The eggs were water. Waiter got to our table halfway through the meal and yet we were forced to pay 20% gratuity. Noise level was atrocious. Yelling and arguing couples. Screaming kids. Sat us at a table where every person, waiter or guest, bumped into us. Really poor.
The dinner was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was great. Thank you so much from a tired traveler.
During our conference at Turnberry Resort, we dined at Corsair multiple times and had consistently positive experiences. The overall food quality was excellent, with the exception of the fries which were average. All of my dining companions agreed that their meals were enjoyable. I personally had the grilled cheese, which was delicious, while my wife devoured her fish tacos. My brother-in-law was pleased with his open face steak sandwich. The omelets and bacon served at breakfast were exceptional. Sitting outside was preferable due to the freezing indoor temperature, but be prepared with a light jacket if you choose to dine indoors. Service was generally prompt and attentive, although there were occasional delays in the kitchen.
This place was entirely average and extremely overpriced. $200 after tax and mandatory 20% tip for a simple meal for two a shared app, tacos, and a vegetarian dinner salad 2 drinks each. The food was fine but nothing was special. I’d call it better than average hotel food but even if it was a reasonably priced neighborhood restaurant, I would not return. Nothing interesting, special, or really even thoughtful about the place.
