Contribuiți la feedbackThis restaurant, located in Woolworths on Park Street, is a bit outdated. They offer a lunch roast dinner for $15.00, which includes a free cup of tea or bottle of water. However, the wait can be quite long as there are only two workers behind the counter. The food may also end up getting cold while waiting for the drink. Overall, the experience could be improved, but considering the price, it's not bad.
This café has a classic vibe and affordable prices. It may not be fancy, but you can get a full roast meal for $14, including a drink, in the heart of the CBD. The atmosphere is laid-back and easygoing. There may be a grumpy old lady at the counter, but she adds character and humor to the place. The simplicity of the environment is reflected in the prices, but the food is still delicious. I always come back for the $9.50 cake, chips, coffee, and coke deal. It's a great spot to grab a meal anytime.
The wall poster advertised fish and chips, but when my wife politely ordered, the elderly lady rudely and aggressively told her there were no chips, only veggies. The menu on the wall is misleading. When we saw the small portion of fish on display, my wife asked if it was hot, but the lady responded angrily, saying of course it was hot. I spoke to her in a similar aggressive tone and decided to leave. This woman should not be working with the public, as she is rude and unpleasant for no apparent reason other than her bad mood.
