Bistro Boulevarde - AVALON BEACH

This beautiful French restaurant is a real treasure! With wonderful service from very welcoming and friendly staff and superb food what is there not to like!? I especially love the pate as a starter and the duck confit to follow. My mouth is watering just think about it! In my opinion this is the best restaurant on the northern beaches and as a result, I come here with my family every birthday and celebration. It is really something special.

Absolutely fantastic! <br/ After living in France and growing accustomed to well-cooked French cuisine, I can safely say this place has nailed it! <br/ Entree of courgette flowers stuffed with goats cheese (best goats cheese I've had in oz , and a handmade pesto to accompany. <br/ Main was med-rare venison in an AMAZING jus with parsnip purée.<br/ Dessert: Creme brûlée (scrumptious! <br/ <br/ Both my parents absolutely adored their meals too (seared scallops/ lamb handmade pate/ confit du canard .<br/ <br/ I would highly recommend this place for both it's food it's service, as well as the simple-yet-charming decor. <br/ I can't wait to return.

I was stunned. Best French food outside Paris and possibly the tastiest food since being in Australia (since '91! . Snails were spot on but it was the duck that blew me away.I actually put my cutlery down so I could savour the complex tastes. Amazing!

Love this place. Consistently good quality food and great service. I get the figs in season for entree and then main it with Steak Frites when hungry but replace the Steak with the souffle when I am not. The owners run a really good restaurant.

Probably one of the top 3 restaurants with ever been to. Amazing food and wine, great service and the ambience is perfect for a French restaurant. Whenever we want to celebrate something this is our first choice on the Northern Beaches.
