Bookoccino - AVALON BEACH

This is a real gem among independent bookshops. Always interesting stock with a cafe at the back which has international newspapers to read.

I have been visiting Bookoccino for over 20 years and love the place. The combination of books and coffee still seems to work and having friendly and knowledgeable owners makes every visit a treat in an increasingly chain shop world. Don't miss it.

After recently returning to Avalon for a visit, I made sure we visited this cafe and bookstore after 15 years. The courtyard was a lovely place to sit with a drink and Saturday papers. The book shop seems small in size but has a great selection of books for all ages. A must do when in the Northern Beaches.

Despite selling a range of great novels, the two owners at Bookoccino are incredibly rude and grumpy.

A great choice of books, ranging from latest novels, cooking, gardening, travel. A small cafe at the back of the shop and an area outside which is nice in the hot months.
