Sunflower - Austin

Good vibes. Nothing more American than eating pho in a Vietnamese restaurant in Texas while Hotel California plays in the background.

Updating my review from 3 to 5 stars. The flavor has gotten better the longer they have been open. Great food, great service, great environment. Very clean and I love the flowers.

The food is amazing, catfish claypot is a must. Steak and eggs with rice, delicious.Still need to work with the staff.

I've been coming to Sunflower since I was a kid, back when it was still on Research Blvd. I've probably eaten here over 100 times over the years.I've never once had a bad, or even mediocre, meal.The crepe is always perfectly crispy, but never greasy. The spring rolls are still the best ones I've ever tried.I was absolutely devastated when the original location closed in 2020, but now that the original owners reopened the restaurant at the current location, I regularly make the hour-plus round trip from my home to indulge. Sometimes I'll just pick up three orders of spring rolls to-go and call it a meal.I've eaten at a lot of the restaurants that get the most praise in the Austin dining scene, so I feel very confident when I say that Sunflower is the very best restaurant in Austin.

I feel so lucky we live within walking distance to this wonderful place! Always such delicious food, friendly service, a super clean, pleasant atmosphere we never seem to wait longer than 5 minutes for our meals! Which is great because we always arrive hungry : also we’re vegan there are so many yummy options for us here! Extra yay! Highly recommend!
