Dean's Italian Steakhouse - Austin

When I came in and the restaurant was almost empty, I was worried. The server was friendly but not very attentive. I order Caesar salad easy on the dressing and I have never seen so much dressing on a salad. Ordered the New York which was very good and cooked just right. Mashed potatoes were terrible more like soupy potatoes they were so thin and mushy.

This place was everything. The food and the service were perfect. The music playing wasn’t too loud but loud enough AND whoever made that play list lol it was FIRE. But back to the food, that steak was cooked to perfection. Probably the best steak I’ve ever had.

Ambience and service was very good. Fresh bread was excellent, oysters very good, lobster bisque very good, good Caesar salad. Was expecting much better cut of steak. Rib eye bi came out and knew it wasn’t going to be the best. It was a little thin and very fatty. The taste wasn’t memorable and it was a bit salty. Good steak but was expecting much better.

Food was pricey but delicious. Thx to Josh for great service.

Good atmosphere and great food. Very pricey for the offerings, especially the pasta.
