La Volpe - Austin

We had a great time in la volpe. the service was excellent, and eating was incredible. the host was very nice, even if we wanted to move tables (no reason, except to sit in a stand). our server was very knowledgeable and told us everything about the parts of the menu. we have two appetizers (the calamari are ingenious), a cheese board, focaccia, and share a entree pasta. and we both have a cocktail. our drinks and eating were all delicious, and we liked the variety of options. the only negatiw that I would tell is that eating one lasted to come out (we sat at 7:40 clock and did not receive our escape until 9:00 clock), and if we had not random tickets for something that started at 10 o'clock, we could have stayed all night over! overall, excellent eating, vibe and service; will be again for an ingenious evening!

My husband and I went for his birthday. The meatballs were delicious, and so were our main courses. I had the short ribs over a sweet potato mix, and my husband had the chicken linguine dish. Both were terrific and the dessert was also, a sweet potato based dessert with fried jelly doughnut balls covered with powdered sugar. Yum!

Although this was my second visit, my wife and I decided we wanted to enjoy a fabulous evening celebrating our anniversary with a great meal. It we couldn’t pick a better place than La Volpe. We absolutely love the food and the service was awesome. We thank you and we will be back.
