Delmy's Pupuseria - Austin

First time here, and it's definitely not the last... we got the. Chicken, chicharron, and queso. They were made fresh, they were hot and cheesy... me my mouth water all over)

By far the best Authentic Salvadoran food I've had in Austin. The pupusas were perfectly made, they were a great size, and had enough meat and cheese. We're fans of the chicharrón queso and they didn't disappoint. The tamales were amazing! Perfect amount of meat and the masa was tasty. Tamales Fritos were delicious and the empanadas de plátano *chef kiss*. The staff was super friendly and the place was kept clean and had enough seating. This food was as authentic as when my mom and grandma make as Salvadoran born and raised. Definitely going to be a staple in our family.

Fresh ingredients, and the rice is equally amazing. The pupusas are incredible. Fresh, warm, gooey, cheesy perfection. This place is a hidden gem.

My mom took me here one afternoon and must i say it was the best ever! Delicious popusas and friendly service offered. I asked for a cup of ice to go with my drink I ordered and they were so nice about it. I will be coming back once the weather cools down.

For months I enjoyed the pupusas in this place. I travel during the week, from work it is 45 minutes just for the pupusas and 1 hour 20 minutes back to my house, despite the distance I enjoy the pupusas, but for some time now the size of the pupusas has been very, very small , I consider that it is no longer worth taking this 2-hour tour for such small pupusas. The menu has other dishes but personally I only visit this place for the pupusas, it's a shame, there are few places with good tasting pupusas. Nothing to regret about the attention and so on.
