Contribuiți la feedbackI ordered the Shoyu, but the server misheard my request and brought me the Shiyo instead, which was totally fine! I had never tried it before, and it tasted delicious. The server apologized and even offered me a small discount for the mix-up, which I really appreciated. It wasn't a big deal at all! I consistently recommend Daruma whenever I can, as well as Kome, and I’m really looking forward to the opening of the new restaurant too. <3
My boyfriend and I dine here every week. It's the best ramen in Austin, and they offer homemade ice creams that are absolutely delicious. My personal favorite is the orange spice flavor, which they change every month. The dining area is small and quiet, creating a nice atmosphere, and the ramen is incredibly flavorful. If you enjoy spice, definitely try the chili paste! Overall, it's a wonderfully authentic ramen house.
This is the best ramen I've had in the U.S. I've been searching for a spot that would remind me of my favorite place in Okinawa, and I finally found it! I'm doing a happy noodle dance!
Their ramen is very tasty, soup is full of flavors but not salty, and their noodle is cooked to the perfect softness. The restaurant is fairly small, so might need to wait in line when it's busy. Ordered their karage as well, it's a little too crispy outside, but the chicken is very juicy. PS. 5:30pm to 7:00pm Monday to Friday is their happy hour, all sides are $1.00 off.
Delicious yummy ramen. If you really enjoy this dish you must go to Daruma and eat them, you will not be disappointed. It's a very tiny local so try to arrive early and add yourself on the waiting list. The staff is very friendly
