We visit Athens from Atlanta occasionally, and every time we go to Bar South, we have a wonderful experience. James is undoubtedly the best bartender there—he's incredibly friendly!

$12 for one drink on a Saturday that wasn’t a game day when the drink is normally $5 on a regular day. Also the bartender gave himself a tip on my receipt after bad service.

The atmosphere is excellent, complete with a pool table and dart boards. They offer a fantastic selection of drinks! This is my favorite spot in Athens!
