Kiser's Barbeque - Athens

I recently visited Athens for a high school basketball game at Convo, and my wife, child, and I wanted to explore a new dining spot. We stumbled upon a small, unassuming restaurant that had a bit of a questionable appearance, and the mall surroundings didn't help its case. However, after reading some positive reviews, we decided to give it a try. I ordered the Rocky 2 sandwich, my wife chose the smoked wing plate, and my son went with the grilled cheese. We all really enjoyed our meals. I was pleasantly surprised to find a selection of vinegars available, even though I usually don't like using vinegar on my fries. I will definitely be returning!

The best tofu tacos in town! I was delighted to find an inventive non-meat option at a BBQ restaurant. They use fresh baby greens in their tacos instead of the typical iceberg lettuce. The quality was outstanding. While they might charge a bit more than other fast-food places, the superior quality is definitely worth it.

We always make sure to visit Kiser's whenever we're in Athens. It's a popular spot for locals, offering a variety of BBQ dishes to please everyone's taste. Plus, now that they sell their sauce in bottles, we can take some home with us!

Very good bbq. Good service. We didn't have to wait very long for dinner. We'll be back in the future.
