Depalma's Italian Cafe Downtown

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time, and we both ordered the seafood charmaine. It was absolutely delicious! The appetizer we had was also amazing.

The food and service at the restaurant were excellent. The only downside was the unpleasant dirty smell in the entrance area, which could have been easily solved by cleaning something. However, the lasagna was outstanding, as well as the delicious pre-dinner bread and oil.

Chef's special of wild mushroom and leeks on fettuccine was good. Customized scallop and shrimp with pesto was a bit heavy, but good. I'd go back just for the hot bread and olive oil dipping.

The cafe has one of the best menus around and an extensive wine list. When we miss normal European cuisine, we come here. We like the atmosphere and of course the pizza, the abundance of cheeses and thin dough that's what keeps attracting us to come here again! I recommend to take Italian wine in a bottle, the wine will pleasantly surprise you with its quality and flavors. The downside is that you may have to wait more than 25 minutes for the pizza, but in the end it is certainly worth it!

Hands down some of the best food I’ve ever had. Service and food were both amazing. I highly recommend the braised short rib ragu and the crème brûlée. I went with a group of friends and we were all in shock at how good the food was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
