Coney Waffle - Asbury Park

I loved that there was a vegan ice cream option available at this restaurant. They had two flavors of vegan ice cream and a few flavors of Italian ice cream to choose from. The atmosphere was nice as well!

There were only two vegan options on the menu, but thankfully they were not the typical chocolate and vanilla flavors.

They offer a variety of vegan ice cream flavors. The vegan options are located in the back of the case, separate from the (dairy) flavors. Look for orange cards that list the vegan options. I tried the mint chocolate chip and it was incredibly creamy, you wouldn't even know it was vegan. The prices are a bit high at $6 for a scoop in a sugar cone, but it's worth it for a treat while strolling along the promenade with an ice cream cone.

The restaurant offered two flavors of vegan ice cream (strawberry and chocolate mint) as well as some Italian ice options. They had vegan sugar cones available, and another vegan cone option that I can't recall, but the cashier was very helpful and knowledgeable. I went with a friend who typically eats meat, and even he couldn't stop raving about how delicious the vegan strawberry ice cream was. I also tried the strawberry flavor and found it to be one of the best vegan ice creams I've ever tasted.

I really appreciate the vegan ice cream option at this restaurant. They offered two different ice cream flavors and a selection of Italian ice flavors. The place was also very cute!
