Medusa Stone Fired Kitchen

I usually stick to my favorite pizza place in Asbury, but I decided to give Medusa a try and I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was incredibly friendly and patient while I took my time deciding. I ordered the specialty pizza topped with braised pork and a fried egg. I’m a big fan of runny yolks on pizza, and this one did not disappoint—it was absolutely delicious! Medusa might just become my new favorite spot. I can't wait to go back soon!

This is the best pizza I've ever had! It's a non-traditional style, but absolutely delicious! The brisket and gravy pizza is simply amazing! The staff is very friendly, and Pony, the host and server, is fantastic!

This charming little spot, housed in a former auto repair shop, serves up incredible wood-fired pizzas that are both subtly topped and absolutely delicious. I tried the oven-roasted wings with a white balsamic glaze (a special), and they were among the best I’ve ever tasted! The staff went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The atmosphere is lovely, albeit cozy—so close that I could feel the heat from the oven on the back of my neck! I can’t wait to return very soon!

The only downside for me was the side of shishito peppers. I'm not a big fan of peppers, so that’s just a personal preference. I would have preferred fries or something else, but maybe I can ask for a substitution next time. Overall, I was extremely impressed and will definitely return for a sit-down meal to try the pizzas and indulge in that tempting French onion soup. Also, as a side note, I suspect the bread they use at Cafe Volan is the sourdough from here, and I have to say, I’ve never tasted anything so delicious in my life!
