Station Diner - Armstrong

I had breakfast there. The menu is pretty standard. I ordered eggs with dry toast, sausage and pan-fried potatoes. I got bacon instead of sausage, but that's not the end of the world. The potatoes were pretty tasteless though. I wasn't expecting much in terms of coffee and wasn't disappointed... just this side stronger than tea. Service was OK. Ambience sure needs an update. It's like a large dining hall with very little in the way of character or charm.

Shrimp and mango salad was so good! Service was good (Fallon ????) and one of the choices in a quiet Monday if you don't want fast food!

There are lots of options for breakfast in Armstrong but if you are looking for something new, The Station Diner is worth a stop!New owners have taken over bringing with them fresh homemade cinnamon buns and bread - which are a great addition to the breakfast menu.The is the usual 'early bird' with 2 of everything or for smaller appetites, try the mini early bird with only 1 of everything. And great that you can substitute cottage cheese or tomatoes for hashbrowns!There are other options too - omelets and French toast - and if you are lucky, the special might be cinnamon bun French toast! Great place for large or small groups - great coffee and Hayley provides awesome service! With a tip, early bird for two with coffee or tea is under $20.
