The Old Courthouse - Armagh

We were not familiar with this area, but took my elderly uncle out for lunch. My husband looked at the reviews and they were all positive, which I must agree with. The food was freshly cooked and the staff were very pleasant. Additionally, we were able to park right across the road from the restaurant, which was a big plus for us. We will definitely be returning to this place in the future.

The restaurant had great communication before our event and provided excellent service on both occasions. Although the menu was simple, the food was delicious and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and the overall experience was very good value for money.

The restaurant has a charming atmosphere with the scent of wood and fresh food. Located in a historic courthouse, it exudes old Irish charm and feels like a step back in time. Despite being close to closing time, the waitress was friendly and hospitable. The scones were served with fresh cream and my kids' meals were delivered patiently and with a smile. I look forward to trying their famous Sunday lunch on my next visit.

Ate here during a training day held in the room upstairs. Tea and shortbread biscuits were lovely staff had to be encouraged to use tongs to lift biscuits, I always feel awkward asking servers to use tongs instead of their hands! For lunch i ordered a chicken Caesar salad which i had to return as there was no chicken on it! It had been forgotten in the kitchen it was lovely when finally in front of me though. A bit more organising required when a crowd of people are in would be good, apart from that the food was nice.
