Delia's Mediterranean Grill Brick Oven Pizza Arlington

Dinner with friends was a delight. Great options and delicious entrees. We’ll be back!

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant for a Valentine's dinner and the food was excellent overall, but our service was terrible. The waiter, a young Ethiopian woman, seemed to not know how to do her job properly. She was unfriendly and did not seem interested in being there. I did not see her smile once. Although I understand that the job can be tough and she may have been having a bad day, it is important not to ruin others' evenings, especially on such a special day. Personally, if I am having a bad day, I would never treat others the way she treated us. When we were ready to order drinks, she walked away before we had finished. She did not ask if there was anything else we needed. My boyfriend had to call her back and tell her we were ready. It was awkward, but the food was delicious overall. The restaurant may just need to consider hiring new employees.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for food enthusiasts. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it for a romantic date night or a gathering with friends.

I have eaten at this restaurant three times. Each time, my companion and I were bothered by the smell coming from the open kitchen. I'm not sure if it's from the grill or the pizza oven, but it seems like there is a lack of proper ventilation. We were relieved to finally breathe fresh air once we left. We will not be returning.

Delia's is in an unlikely spot a pad site in a neighborhood shopping center but, as soon as you step inside, you realize you're in a locally owned restaurant, not a chain. The decor is chic Mediterranean, with comfy tables and booths and seating that spills outside onto a patio. The food is reliably good (well, the pizza is a little bland) we particularly like the halloumi flambe. But the service is hit or miss. We've dined here about half a dozen times. Twice, service has been great prompt, attentive. But the other times, it's been problematic. On our most recent visit, we waited 10 minutes for water. Then two of our group's entrees came out in 40 minutes and the third took nearly an hour, at which point the other two entrees were cold. It took 15 minutes to get our check. Our server was very apologetic, and I have a feeling the problems stemmed from a poorly timed kitchen and and understaffed schedule.
