The Boathouse - Argyll Bute

10/10 Amazing fresh seafood on the menu is a must, as is a seat outside looking across to Ben More and Loch na Keal. A small and perfectly formed menu. Delicious.

Delicious lunch at the Boathouse. The food was so good ; fresh bread, wonderful pickled salads, delicious butter sauce to accompany the fresh langoustines and superb cakes especially the Victoria sponge. Worth the journey especially on a rainy day .

The perfect spot, the food was simple but fantastic, the glass of wine was delicious and the service excellent. Enjoying the local produce with a stunning view and our pup with us was just perfection highly recommend. I actually bought a beautiful lino print of the Boathouse from the Calgary Art Gallery to remember our visit.

Amazing views with wonderful food. The home baked focaccia is just incredible and perfect with the langoustines. I could eat just this! And maybe I will, as they literally gave us a loaf to take away!

Delicious food and friendly staff. So good we came back for coffee and cake after lunch. Lovely to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the island. We’ll be back.
