Motta - ARGEGNO

We stopped here to get aperitivo and something to eat before a boat trip. We ordered a beer, aperol spritz, two lemon sodas, a wonderful faro salad and two delicious pizzas. The staff here was kind and so helpful as we had some questions about getting back to Bellagio (where we were staying) after our boat trip. Lovely town as well and wished we had more time to explore. Highly recommend Bar Motta.

Went here a couple of times for lunch the fresh orange is lovely as were the toasts! Friendly service, nice shady outdoor eating up the cobbled street.

We stopped here twice for an early evening pause, ordering local white wine for the adults and peach juice for the children. This is a friendly place with tables on the steep side pathway as well as out front. We preferred the side area with a great view of the passersby on the lower sidewalk. We were also surprised at the tapas-like presentation of a variety of meats and cheeses that were an accompaniment to our drinks. This was a real treat. Having never eaten a full meal here, I can't comment on the menu, but the snacks and drinks were mighty fine.

Interni accoglienti e personale cordiale. La vista sul Lago di Como parla da sé. Ottimo punto per una fermata veloce, il parchimetro accetta cent per minuti di sosta. Anche se spesso pieno, subito dopo la curva, vicino alla chiesa, si trova un posteggio gratuito. Tentar non nuoce...
